Tropical storm Fengshen Hammers Chinese Coast
Check out this freaky video of Chinese reporters amost being blown away by tropical storm Fengshen.
This is the same deadly storm killed hundreds in the Phillipines earlier this week, and has now moved north to drench the south China coast. Schools were closed and over 120 flights were cancelled as Fengshen slammed into the important economic provinces of Hong Kong and Shenzen. Almost eight inches of rain are predicted to drench for the area that has already suffered severe flooding this year.
Fengshen is a killer, with over 500 confirmed dead in the Phillipines. A ferry was also capsized by the monster storm with over 700 people missing. Fengshen is the sixth major Typhoon of the 2008 season and has caused over $100 million in damage.
Buckle up people - we could be in for a long cyclone season...
